Following a recent service of our heating boiler it was time for a new boiler. The quote from Heywood was competitive and a date was arranged. Yesterday Ryan and Jamie arrived promptly and set about the removal of the old boiler and installed the new one. The whole process was excellent and the work was completed to a very high standard. They were so good and left everywhere immaculate

As ever Heywood Heating came to our rescue. We had had a burst pipe, managed to turn the water off but had no hot water and four guests! Pat was brilliant and managed to alter our plumbing to get us through 48 hours before the new pump could be fitted. Pat is always pleasant to have around, is quietly efficient and clears up afterwards.

We had major issues with our boiler and flue length for months, with no hot water or heating from Jan to May! Nightmare.
No one could seem to find a solution until we contacted Daniel and his team. They took one look and came up with a plan to get us back up and running.

This review would be a clear 1 if it hadn't been for decent service prior to this (I have used them several times over years). Their engineer called for the annual boiler service, found serious risk of a carbon monoxide leak, strongly advised me not to use it. He said job would be an "emergency". 5 working days later, despite my polite chasing (5 emails and a call), I still have had no communication about exactly what is wrong and soloution. On 2 occasions I was promised a call, email back - none received. I received the service invoice to pay, without full information on the issue + the engineer said he hadn't completed the service - that would be done after problems fixed - but invoice was sent anyway! I did let them know I would need to make a complaint to move things forward. I do hope they can resolve this fully and quickly

Heywood Heating installed a new Vailliant boiler, October 2025. From quote to completion the service was first class.The quote was competitive.
The installation was carried out to a very high standard by Ryan and Jamie and there care for the property was also very good.

Another excellent job from Heywood Heating. They installed two new radiators, adjusted the pipes to fit, drained and refilled the system and added heating system inhibitor. All completed very professionally by the engineers and final price less than the estimate.

I contacted Heywood Heating following a recommendation, for a plumbing issue. I found the booking process easy - very good, quick communication. The plumbers arrived on time, explained the issue and the suggested fix really clearly. Respectful and efficient plumbers. We’ll definitely use them again.

Heywood Heating helped us figure out what was going on with our dodgy shower and boiler. This is the second time we've needed them, I contacted them again as we'd been happy the first time.
The communication was great, the guys who came to replace our boiler were lovely. I appreciated that there was no pressure to get more work done or spend more than was necessary. Overall it was a very good experience and we'd recommend them to anyone.

Our heating stopped working, so I phoned Heywood Heating and they came out that day and replaced a motorised valve and also noticed the boiler was noisy so i could go to the boiler makers under warranty. When the boiler makers wanted the system flushed before replacing a part Heywards noticed their reason for wanting it refreshed was faulty and checked with the boiler technical people so I could push for the part to be replaced without reflushing the system because there was no need. So excellent Heating engineers

Following a recent boiler failure Heywood Heating responded very quickly to provide a temporary solution for hot water, a quotation for boiler replacement including reconfiguration of pipework etc with the new boiler installed under 2 weeks of the failure. The install team were excellent, kept the house very tidy throughout, kept us informed of progress and completing the works within 2 days. Great job.

Required new cistern. Heywood Heating supplied and installed. Paul was the plumber. He was courteous, highly professional and did a first class job. I would certainly use Heywood and in particular Paul again. The price was also reasonable.

We have used Heywood Heating a few times in 2024 and each time have been very pleased with the work done and the service provided by this local firm.
The employees are always very professional, efficient and courteous.
All of them seem to have been with Heywood for many years which is a very good sign.
Communication with office staff and owner Daniel is very good and always. helpful.
We had our old boiler and tank system replaced by a Valliant combi by Ryan and Jamie who did the work very efficiently and with the minimum of inconvenience. They were very considerate, courteous and tidy.
We had our bathroom shower tap replaced, and redundant shower pump removed, by Paul who also did this very efficiently and again with minimum of fuss. He was courteous and good humoured.
Heywood engineers are punctual and polite and we were informed when they were en route.
We are very satisfied customers and have no hesitation in recommending them for plumbing or heating work.

Pleased to have had our third combi boiler in 20 plus years installed in Chiswick (third property) by Heywood Heating Ltd. Ryan & Jamie were a dream team who tidied up the existing pipework and laid a new gas supply line before installing and commissioning the new Vaillant ecoTEC plus 840 combi boiler with the protection kit and the remote SensoHome controls.

Ryan came up with many little ideas that made the installation much less intrusive than the boiler it replaced, which he removed and disposed of, and ensured that the new expansion vessel was both out of the way of the boiler for maintenance and unobtrusive. Not a spot of green to be seen on the copper pipework afterwards. At the same time they replaced two older radiators with a triple and a double, making no mess despite having to extend the pipework slightly. At the same time, some 17 metres of trenching outside was required which was done efficiently without disturbing existing services, and has now been covered back up as if it never had been there.

At all times the team took care to take their boots off inside and use dustsheets etc to protect the floors and furniture, and returned the area to original state at the end of each day. Very responsive to questions and always explained the trade-offs when input was required.

The owner Daniel came around before the work was scheduled to look over the requirements and discuss the options before preparing the quote - which itself was detailed and concise. The whole time the process was relaxed and it felt like they were looking out for our best interests.

Very happy with the service from Heywood Heating. I have used them twice in the last year. First to install a new boiler, and recently to install a shower unit. It all looks professional and good quality work, at reasonable prices. The staff are courteous, informative, and happy to answer any questions. I was very impressed with the two engineers who installed the shower (Dylan and Norris) - the new shower and wall panels look great, and they went the extra mile to make sure the work was done to a tight deadline.
